This is my last blog for English!!!! Yay!!! I didn't really like this assignment at first but it was not so bad. I definitely do not plan to continue blogging because It is all stuff that I tell my friends and I get tired of typing it. I do understand the point of the assignment, because it is just like a journal.
Anyway so for spring break my friend and I decided to sigh up for a 5k called Rugged Maniac. It is a running course but it also has challenges and obstacles along the way. The course is designed by Navy Seals, so I feel it will be strenuous but also fun. I am not a runner nor will I ever be but I decided to sign up because I feel like it would be a good experience. It also reminds me of a mix between Survivor and The challenge, both are reality shows with challenges. Also, my friend from up in Clemson will join me, so it should be fun and exhausting all at the same time. I have been trying to "train" for this event. Meaning doing cardio and weights everyday except Sundays. So far I am on my 4th day and I feel like I should be able to keep it up until the race.

Practically Perfect in every way... Mary Poppins
So this weekend I went home to go see a musical from Broadway. I went to go see Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins is my favorite movie of all time, so my parents and brother bought me tickets to go see the musical in the North Charleston Coliseum. The show was amazing. It was so amazing I would not give justice to it by talking about it. The show is really an experience that is a must see. While some of the original songs are in the show, there are also songs that were created to fit the show. They flow very well. Also, because it is an adaptation of the movie, some scenes are different. Such as, the penguin scene, instead they used statues. All in all the show was just as magical as the movie with even a bit of extra awesomeness. The people really worked hard on this show and they deserve a lot of credit and praise for making a musical play from the movie. Also the woman that played Mary Poppins was spectacular. She was sarcastic yet lovable at the same time. I give mad props to those who participated in the show and made it magical.
