The people you knew

So, I was watching American Idol auditions last night and I saw a girl who looked similar to a girl from my high school. I did not think much of it, since I was also doing homework. However, I saw on Facebook and it turns out that it was the girl I thought it was. She was a grade above me and graduated with my brother, in 2010. I knew that she would be doing something big in her life. Her and her best friend created their own band and play often in local areas in Charleston. They are also models and have a very long resume in the fashion world. When I found out that it was the girl from high school, it got me thinking. I wondered how the people that I graduated with would turn out in life. There is always that one kid in school that you think will be a big star or do something to change the world. While this girl is not changing the world or tackling bigger problems, I do applaud and admire her for auditioning. It takes guts to get up in front of Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson.
